Symptoms of dengue fever infection

"Three reds" symptoms: Patients may experience flushing on their face, neck, and chest.

Skin rash: On the 3rd to 6th day after the onset of illness, some patients will develop rashes on their face and limbs. These rashes are usually accompanied by itching symptoms, but they usually subside naturally after 3 to 4 days.

Bleeding symptoms: Although relatively rare, some severely ill patients may develop various bleeding symptoms within 5-8 days after fever, such as nosebleeds, gum bleeding, bloody stools, etc.

 

Dengue fever hot spots

Dengue fever occurs in tropical and subtropical climate regions around the world and is widespread in semi-urban areas. The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention reminds: Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Latin America, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay and other countries have entered the epidemic season of dengue fever.

Dengue fever prevention: take three steps to travel worry-free
