The T7 Co-transcription RNA Synthesis Kit optimizes the transcription reaction system. The kit uses T7 RNA polymerase and takes the linear double-stranded DNA containing the T7 promoter sequence as the template and NTPs as the substrate. The sequence is transcribed to efficiently synthesize single-stranded RNA. Modified nucleotides can be added to the substrate during transcription to prepare biotin- or dye-labeled RNA.
This kit synthesizes long transcripts or short transcripts by co-transcription. 1μg of template input can produce 150-200μg of RNA. The synthesized RNA can be used for such as RNA structure and function research, RNase protection, probe hybridization, Many downstream applications such as RNAi, microinjection and in vitro translation.
